I'm looking forward to student teaching in Ireland this fall, especially to see the differences that exist between Ireland and Wisconsin elementary classrooms. My inspiration for applying to teach abroad was my desire to be a part of a totally different and new educational system. I'm anxious to discover new teaching strategies that I could utilize in the future for both large and small group instruction. I think this will be an experience that will help me grow as a teacher as well as a person. I'm excited to live in a new country, travel, and experience Irish culture first-hand.
